2009-07-01 Edgewater Isle Senior Apartments Joins Westlake's Portfolio

Westlake Realty Group, Inc., San Mateo’s newest AMO®-certified property management company, today announced that it has taken over management of the Edgewater Isle Senior Apartments in San Mateo. This affordable, Project-based Section 8 complex is owned by Human Investment Project (HIP Housing) of San Mateo County. It is conveniently located at 1510 Marina Vista, adjacent to State Route 92 and near the Bridgepointe residential and commercial corridor.

 

HIP Housing purchased the 92-unit development in 1998 and immediately began to provide transportation and on-site services to residents. Edgewater Isle is part of the organization’s Housing Opportunity Program, which is a winner of HUD’s Blue Ribbon Best Practices Award.

The complex features a spacious club house, planned outings, and transportation to shopping. A licensed social worker and on-site service coordinator provide a variety of adult services, such as assistance with shopping and cleaning.
