Lease Up/Development

Westlake will prepare and complete the following for new lease up of LIHTC or other affordable housing:

  • Initial Development operations budget
  • Marketing plan consistent with affordability regulations, including affirmative fair housing plan
  • Marketing budget
  • Development office set up
  • Vendor contracts
  • Establish bank accounts
  • Neighborhood outreach to appropriate tenant market (seniors, families, single persons, etc.)
  • Lease documentation and addenda appropriate for development
  • Waiting list processing
  • Unit inspections and punch-list identification and tracking
  • Move in procedures
